Met Office issues woolly jumpers alert as Arctic blast brings plummeting temperatures

A cold weather alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency for the Midlands and North of England due to Arctic air bringing winter chills. The Met Office has also issued warnings for snow and ice, with up to 20cm of snow possible on higher ground. Commuters are advised to take extra care during Monday’s rush hour, as icy roads are expected.
