UK to end study visas for Myanmar, Afghanistan, Cameroon, Sudan students

The UK is ending study visas for students from Afghanistan, Cameroon, Myanmar, and Sudan, as well as work visas for Afghans, due to a surge in asylum claims. The Home Office cited a 470% increase in asylum applications from these countries between 2021 and 2025.
