Rachel Reeves ‘not satisfied’ as UK economy flatlines under Labour

Rachel Reeves expressed disappointment with recent figures showing the UK economy flatlining after Labour took office, with GDP growing by just 0.1% in the third quarter. The Office for National Statistics reported a slowdown from the previous quarter and a 0.1% decrease in real GDP per person. Shadow chancellor Mel Stride criticized Labour’s choices, stating that promises of economic growth were not being fulfilled due to Ms Reeves’ decisions, leading to potential tax increases.
