If each of the country’s 536,673 millionaires were to donate 1%, the charity sector could receive an additional £12 billion. The Charities Aid Foundation’s research also revealed that the wealthiest individuals tend to support different causes than the wider public, highlighting a disparity in charitable giving between the two groups.
