Geluksdal – The Ubuntu Community Empowerment Centre (CNDC) in Geluksdal has successfully run its Community Nutrition Development Centre programme for four years, serving at least 500 people across six locations weekly from 10:00 to 14:00. The programme offers nutritious meals and life skills training to alleviate poverty and hunger, with a focus on providing daily meals and empowering community members with skills like time management and job readiness. The centre collaborates with the Department of Labour to provide learnership opportunities, skills training programmes, and job placements, ensuring that poor and vulnerable individuals have access to economic opportunities.
