The United Arab Emirates (UAE) summoned Israel’s ambassador to formally protest against alleged violations of Palestinian rights following violent clashes during an Israeli rally in east Jerusalem. The UAE condemned the actions of Israeli extremists at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and in the Muslim Quarter, urging the Israeli government to hold accountable those responsible, including officials.
