UAE, Azerbaijan sign trade deal as officials meet in Abu Dhabi for Armenia peace talks

The UAE and Azerbaijan have signed a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) expected to boost the UAE’s GDP by $680 million by 2031, enhancing bilateral trade which reached $2.24 billion in 2024. Meanwhile, Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders held peace talks in Abu Dhabi, continuing negotiations to resolve their long-standing conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, with no significant progress reported.
