U.S. men’s hockey team defeats Denmark 6-3 in Olympics

Jack Eichel’s goal and an assist in the U.S. men’s hockey team’s 6-3 victory over Denmark helped maintain their unbeaten record at the Olympics, tying them with Canada for the top seed. The U.S. overcame an early long-distance goal from Denmark’s Nicholas B. Jensen, with Brady Tkachuk scoring twice and Noah Hanifin adding another. Jake Guentzel also scored, while Denmark’s goal credited to Nick Olesen came from an accidental shot by Zach Werenski. As the U.S. heads into their final round-robin game against Germany, they hold six points in the standings.
