Two women in their 20s died in a car crash on Common Lane, Pleasley, after their Suzuki Alto collided with a Vauxhall Meriva at 6:20 AM on Thursday. A nine-year-old boy in the Suzuki was hospitalized with life-changing injuries, while three men in the Vauxhall sustained injuries, two seriously. An 18-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and remains in the hospital. Police are seeking witnesses to the incident.
