Two pedestrians in their 60s were fatally struck by a vehicle in St-Théodore-d’Acton, Montérégie, while crossing an unlit portion of Route 139 to reach their parked vehicle in an orchard, according to Sûreté du Québec. Despite resuscitation efforts, both pedestrians died at the scene, while the vehicle occupants were hospitalized for shock.
