Two new raven chicks arrive at Tower of London ‘to keep the kingdom safe’

Two raven chicks, named Henry and Poe, have arrived at the Tower of London, adhering to a legend that mandates at least six ravens be present to ensure the kingdom’s safety. The five-week-olds are settling into their new home, where their presence brings the total number of ravens to eight, following the death of one named Gripp last year. Ravenmaster Barney Chandler expressed delight in their adjustment, highlighting the importance of the myth that if ravens ever leave, the Tower and monarchy will fall.
