Two London Underground lines suspended after points failure

Morning rush hour travel on the London Underground has been severely disrupted due to a points failure at Edgware Road, affecting the Circle line, which is currently suspended, and causing delays on the Hammersmith & City and District lines. Passengers are advised to use their tickets on London Buses as services are impacted, with severe delays noted on the Metropolitan line and issues on the Overground’s Windrush line due to a separate power supply failure. While services are expected to resume by 8am, delays of up to 20 minutes may still occur, with cancellations and diversions possible.
