Two individuals, Mehdi Ahmadzadeh Razavi, 48, of Maple Ridge, and Arezou Soltani, 45, of North Vancouver, have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Masood Masjoody, a 45-year-old man from Burnaby, B.C. Masjoody’s remains were discovered in Mission on March 6, following his disappearance on February 2. Investigators believe the suspects and victim were known to each other, though the motive remains unclear. Razavi and Soltani will appear in court on Monday.
