Two arrested on suspicion of murder as family remember ‘kind’ woman

Cathy Doherty, 52, was found dead in a flat on Meols Cop Road in Southport on February 26. Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder, but police are still treating her death as unexplained. Her family described her as “fun-loving, kind, and considerate” and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
