ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 22. Turkmenistan and Austria are actively strengthening their trade and economic relations, according to Trend reports.
During a meeting between representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Peter Gindl, Deputy Head of the Representative Office of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in Vienna, it was highlighted that the two countries have a strong level of trade and economic cooperation that benefits both parties.
The discussions centered around the future prospects and opportunities for business relations between Turkmenistan and Austria, as well as their priorities in this regard.
The participants acknowledged the importance of the exchange of delegations, business visits, conferences, and industry exhibitions in further developing Turkmen-Austrian business relations in recent years.
Both parties expressed confidence that their relations will continue to strengthen and that their cooperation will be mutually beneficial going forward.
Furthermore, Turkmenistan and Austria have maintained stable and beneficial trade turnover, with trade transactions between the two countries amounting to over 132.9 million euros from the beginning of 2018 through the end of 2023.
