Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, the leading producer of advanced chips used in AI applications, is expected to report a 42% increase in third-quarter profit due to high demand from customers like Apple and Nvidia. TSMC’s net profit for the quarter ended Sept. 30 is estimated at T$300.1 billion, with soaring revenue exceeding expectations, despite ASML’s lower sales forecast impacting the chip market.
