President Trump and first lady Melania Trump are participating in a solemn dignified transfer procession at Dover Air Force Base to honor two Iowa National Guard members killed in Syria. The guardsmen, Sgt. Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar and Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard, along with U.S. civilian Ayad Mansoor Sakat, were ambushed by an ISIS gunman. This is the first dignified transfer President Trump has attended since taking office, with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Sen. Chuck Grassley also present. The transfer is a solemn movement of remains to honor those who sacrificed their lives in service of their country.
