Trump Names U.S. Delegation for 2026 Winter Olympics

President Trump announced that Vice President JD Vance and his wife will lead a U.S. delegation to Italy for the opening ceremony of the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan-Cortina, set for February 6. Accompanying them will be Secretary of State Marco Rubio, U.S. Ambassador to Italy Tilman Feritta, and Olympic athletes Monique Lamoureux-Morando and Evan Lysacek. The games will feature sports like bobsledding, skiing, and figure skating, running until February 22. Notably, figure skater Maxim Naumov, whose parents died in a plane crash, and Alysa Liu, a recent World Champion, will represent Team USA.
