The 'Dirty 15' percent: Some countries will take a harder hit from Trump's tariffs

President Donald Trump is set to announce reciprocal tariffs against countries with unfair trade barriers, targeting the “Dirty 15” nations that impose hefty tariffs on U.S. goods. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and National Economic Council director Kevin Hassett have not named the specific countries, but data shows China, the EU, Mexico, Vietnam, and others have contributed to America’s trillion-dollar trade deficit. The U.S. Trade Representative is particularly interested in 21 countries for unfair trade practices.
