A federal judge in Massachusetts indicated her intention to grant Harvard University a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration’s efforts to revoke its ability to enroll international students. U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs extended a temporary restraining order, which prevents the administration from enforcing threats that would require existing foreign students to transfer or lose their legal status. The Trump administration has given Harvard 30 days to respond to its attempts to terminate the institution’s participation in the Student Exchange and Visitor Program.
