President-elect Donald Trump falsely claimed that the Georgia appeals court’s decision to remove Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from his 2020 election interference case means the lawsuit is “entirely dead.” Despite this, the court ruled the case should proceed, with a new prosecutor to be appointed. This is the last remaining criminal case against Trump following his victory in the 2024 race.
