Donald Trump delivered a speech in Nashville, Tennessee, to the National Religious Broadcasters association, arriving more than 90 minutes late. His speech was described as wild and incoherent, with him stumbling over words like “evangelical” and making false claims such as declaring he made “Israel” the capital of Israel during his presidency. He also praised the Capitol rioters for their “tremendous spirit” and claimed that “everybody” agreed with the US Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe vs Wade. Trump also mentioned his plans to close down the Department of Education.
