Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for the Pentagon, faces allegations of alcohol abuse and sexual impropriety from a New Yorker report, including being drunk at veteran nonprofit events and pursuing female staffers. Hegseth stepped down from Concerned Veterans for America in 2016 due to concerns about his management and alcohol use, and previously led Vets for Freedom, which faced financial troubles under his leadership.
