Trudeau flying in and out of Bermuda Wednesday to deliver eulogy for Peter Green

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is traveling to Bermuda to deliver a eulogy at the funeral of Peter Green, a close family friend. The Trudeaus have had a longstanding relationship with the Green family, with Pierre Trudeau being godfather to Peter Green’s son Alexander. The PMO confirmed that Trudeau’s Christmas trip to Jamaica, where the family stayed at Green’s resort, was a gift from friends, with taxpayers covering costs related to security and transportation, amounting to $230,442.
