Lionsgate has unveiled the trailer for the indie comedy film Americana, featuring Sydney Sweeney as a shy waitress and Paul Walter Hauser as a military veteran. The plot revolves around a rare Native American artifact that becomes the center of conflict when it falls onto the black market, leading Sweeney and Hauser to face a ruthless criminal and other colorful characters. Written and directed by Tony Tost, the film, which also stars Halsey and Eric Dane, is set for theatrical release on August 22, 2025, despite concerns due to its two-year delay.
