Gaza City – Osama al-Hussari’s home in the Shati refugee camp collapsed during a storm, killing his neighbor, Mohammed al-Helou, and injuring six others, including two children. The house, damaged from previous Israeli bombings, housed 25 family members who had sought refuge after being displaced. Rawiya al-Hussari recounted the terrifying moment of the collapse as she fled with her children, later finding her son Mohammed alive. Following this incident, the number of collapsed homes in Gaza rose to 17, prompting officials to inspect at-risk buildings.
