Lauren Eilers, a senior distance runner from Willmar, is the top seed in the Class AA girls’ 1,600-meter run with a personal best of 4:56.25, aiming for a state championship at the Minnesota State High School League Track and Field Championships. Her sister, Erin Eilers, a fourth-time state qualifier, will compete in the girls’ 300 hurdles as the sixth seed after setting a school record of 45.44. Both sisters will continue their running careers at the collegiate level, with Lauren heading to Lipscomb University and Erin to Augustana University.
