California woman stabbed at Macy’s in NYC.

A 38-year-old woman from California was stabbed multiple times inside Macy’s Herald Square in New York City while shopping with her husband, sustaining injuries to her back and left arm. The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition. The suspect, 43-year-old Kerri Aheme of Tewksbury, Mass., has been charged with attempted murder, assault, possession of a weapon, and endangerment of a child. Macy’s expressed sadness over the incident and deferred further inquiries to local authorities.
