Archaeologists in Cambodia have unearthed the torso of a 12th or 13th-century Buddha statue at Angkor’s Ta Prohm temple, matching a head found nearly a century ago at the same site. The statue, in the Bayon art style, features unique carvings and a left-hand gesture across the chest, an uncommon representation in Khmer art.
