A Toronto teacher has been suspended pending an investigation for showing Grade 5 and 6 students a violent video related to the assassination of U.S. activist Charlie Kirk. The incident, described as “extremely troubling” by principal Jennifer Koptie, occurred while addressing students’ questions about the recent event, and the teacher will not return to school during the investigation.
