Birmingham-based rapper Twista Cheese, real name Omar Abdirizak, was found guilty of sharing a “menacing” viral video about far-right figure Tommy Robinson, in which he made gun gestures and references to artillery. The video, reposted by Robinson on X (formerly Twitter), led to Abdirizak being convicted of sending a threatening message under the Communications Act 2003. Despite denying direct threats, the court determined that the video crossed the line from freedom of speech to criminality, attracting over two million views and sparking controversy.
