Tommy Robinson to be released from prison next week after winning court appeal

Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is set to be released from his 18-month prison sentence after winning an appeal at the High Court, having shown commitment to comply with a court injunction related to a libel case involving a Syrian refugee. Although the judge noted an absence of remorse, he acknowledged a change in Robinson’s attitude since sentencing. Robinson had previously aired a contentious video at a rally, violating court orders, but must now remove breaching content from his social media to fully purge his contempt.
