Border czar Tom Homan announced the conclusion of a surge of federal immigration officers in Minnesota, with a drawdown occurring next week. The operation saw at least 4,000 arrests in Minnesota, with the number of federal agents dropping from around 2,000 to 700. Governor Tim Walz indicated that the operation, known as Operation Metro Surge, would last only “days, not weeks and months.”
