The UK’s Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has released interim guidance following a Supreme Court ruling on biological sex, emphasizing that trans individuals should have access to suitable facilities. It states that trans women should not use women’s facilities in workplaces or public services, and similarly, trans men, who are biologically female, should not use men’s toilets. The EHRC asserts that no person should face a lack of facilities appropriate for their gender identity.
