TiVo has officially ended its production of digital video recorders (DVRs) after 26 years, with its last model, the TiVo Edge, released in 2019. The company will continue as a software provider for smart TVs and infotainment systems but will stop selling all EDGE DVR products as of September 30, 2025, due to declining demand from the rise of streaming services and cloud-based recording options.
