Chinese wind power equipment manufacturer Titan Wind Energy’s subsidiary, Nantong Changfeng New Energy Equipment Technology, has secured a $45m deal to construct a floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel for Singaporean contractor OceanSTAR Marine and Offshore Investment. The project is expected to take 22 months and will involve design, hull construction, material procurement, and installation services for potential use in offshore oil and gas extraction in Southeast Asia.
