NSW police officers in western and southwestern Sydney are refusing to carry out certain duties on Wednesday due to claims of being overworked. The areas affected include Auburn, Bankstown, Burwood, Camden, Campbelltown, Cumberland, and Fairfield. Channel 7 reports that officers will not perform random breath tests, bail checks (except for high-risk domestic violence offenders), truancy checks, parking disputes, or animal complaints.
