Tiffany Henyard absent from Thornton Township election filings

Five months out from April’s election, neither Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard nor any incumbent trustees have announced intentions to run again. Independent candidates for supervisor include Nate Fields, Jr., Stafford Owens, and Sidney Moore, with Moore aiming to bring transparency and positivity back to the township. While major party candidates can be determined by caucus, Thornton Township voters may not know their supervisor until December 3, amidst ongoing federal investigations into Henyard and organizations under her control.
