Windsor-born playwright Rose Napoli has won the Playwrights Guild Comedy Award for her play Innocents, inspired by children fainting at an art gallery. After starting her theatre journey in Windsor, Napoli’s work explores serious subjects through a comedic lens. With six plays under her belt, including Lo and a musical adaptation of Mavis Gallant’s The Carrette Sister, Napoli’s new musical After the Rain will debut at Tarragon Theatre in 2023.
