An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the explosion that wounded at least 70 people.
A gas tanker truck exploded under a highway overpass in Mexico City, killing three and injuring over 70, including children. Mayor Clara Brugada termed it an “emergency” as firefighters battled the flames; the truck reportedly tipped over before the explosion, and the energy company involved, Silza, lacked updated insurance paperwork.
