These Venezuelan Election Observers Got Death Threats. Now They’re in Hiding.

Several Venezuelan election observers from the opposition party fled the country after discovering that Edmundo Gonzáles beat Nicolás Maduro in July. They received death threats from Maduro’s supporters and are now in hiding in a Colombian city on the border. One of the volunteers, Anthony, is among those in hiding, fearing for their safety.
