The Windsor Spitfires put up a strong fight but ultimately fell 5-1 to the London Knights in a battle for first place in the league. Despite dominating play and outshooting their opponents, the Spitfires could not solve Knights’ rookie goalie Aleksei Medvedev. New additions Wyatt Kennedy and Luke McNamara made their debut for Windsor, but London’s Blake Montgomery led the way with two goals in the victory.
