The Terrifying Reason Why We Are Afraid Of Clowns, According To Science

Researchers from the University of South Wales conducted a study to uncover the reasons behind the widespread fear of clowns. They found that more than half of the respondents reported being scared of clowns to some degree, with hidden emotional signals from clown makeup being the primary factor causing fear. The study also revealed that negative portrayals of clowns in popular culture and learned fear from family members contribute to this phobia.
