Two Israeli airstrikes hit Yemen’s main airport, killing three people and injuring dozens, including a UN delegation with the World Health Organisation’s director-general present. The blasts occurred as a plane was landing and the delegation was preparing to leave, causing significant damage to the airport. The UN team was eventually able to safely depart for Jordan, despite the attack being attributed to Israel targeting the Houthi rebels and Iran.
