The little-known credit that could boost grandparents state pension

Grandparents who care for their grandchildren for at least 20 hours a week could be entitled to National Insurance credits, boosting their state pension. These credits can be claimed by filling out a form and submitting it to HM Revenue and Customs. Many grandparents are unaware of this benefit, which could significantly increase their retirement income.
