Analysis shows that in 54 English local authority areas, average property prices exceed the LISA cap, posing challenges for buyers in the South and South East. The possibility of reforms to address the issue is being explored by a group of MPs, with focus on potentially raising or removing the cap and eliminating the penalty for exceeding it.
