Residents outside of Cleveland, Texas, are living in fear as threatening, feral dogs roam their city, with no animal control organization in Liberty County. Locals have reported multiple attacks, including one woman being attacked by eight dogs and another man being bitten and bruised while trying to help a delivery driver. The sheriff’s office suggests residents shoot the dogs if they feel threatened, as nearby city animal control workers struggle to assist due to the distance, allowing the dogs to escape before they arrive.
