Robert Preston Morris, the founder of a Texas megachurch, has pleaded guilty to five counts of lewd acts with a child, dating back to 1982, when he abused a 12-year-old girl while serving as a traveling evangelist. He received a 10-year suspended sentence, will serve six months in jail, register as a sex offender, and pay restitution to the victim, who expressed relief at seeing justice served.
