Tesla’s vice president of software engineering, David Lau, is stepping down after more than 12 years with the company, responsible for software in Tesla vehicles, cloud services, and manufacturing systems. Lau, who held the role since 2017, was among the company leaders showcased with CEO Elon Musk in 2023.
