1. Acceptance of Terms

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.2 Billing and Payment
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
5.3 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings.
5.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide you with at least 30 days' notice of any price increases. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel your subscription.
5.5 Free Trials
We may offer free trials for premium subscriptions. At the end of the trial period, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1 Our Content
The Service and its original content (excluding third-party news content and User Content), features, and functionality are owned by MyNewsWave and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 Third-Party Content
News articles and content aggregated from third-party sources remain the property of their respective owners. We display this content under fair use principles for news reporting and commentary purposes. All third-party content is credited to original sources.
6.3 Trademarks
MyNewsWave, ArticleScope, TruthLens, LocalPulse, PolyRead AI, NewsFlash Digest, PerspectiveSplit, and our logos are trademarks of MyNewsWave. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
6.4 Limited License to Use Content
You may:
- View and read content for personal, non-commercial use
- Share links to articles via social media or email
- Print single copies of articles for personal use
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission
- Remove copyright notices or attributions
- Use our content for commercial purposes
- Scrape or systematically download content from the Service
7. User-Generated Content
7.1 Your Content
You may have the opportunity to submit comments, ratings, feedback, or other content ("User Content") through the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content.
7.2 License to MyNewsWave
By submitting User Content, you grant MyNewsWave a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

Our AI features (ArticleScope, TruthLens, PolyRead AI, etc.) are powered by third-party AI services including Claude by Anthropic. Your use of these features is subject to our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:
- Abuse or excessively use AI features in ways that degrade service quality for others
- Attempt to extract or reverse-engineer our AI models
- Use our AI features to generate content for competing services

13. Termination

13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease
- We may delete your account and User Content
- Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive
- You will not be entitled to any refund of prepaid fees
